Pablo Figueiredo is a Brazilian graphic design and researcher working at the intersections of visual communication theory, design history, and computational technology.
His latest research explores generative visual identity systems by mapping 150 distinct projects. The resulting classification model offers a deeper look at algorithmic branding, connecting modern technical approaches with design history and theory. These investigations are directly grounded in his professional experience with branding and digital user interface design.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Design from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) and a master’s degree from the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP). Currently based in Germany, he is a graduate research assistant at the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation, where he further investigates historical visual theories in design education as part of the COOP Design Research program.
